Moldex 2600 N95 Disposable Respirators with Cloth HandyStrap Details
Moldex 2600 disposable respirators provide 95% efficiency against non-oil based particulate. Instead of a metal noseband, which requires uncomfortable adjustments, they feature a contoured nose bridge with a soft foam nose cushion for enhanced comfort. Moldex's Softspun® liner further increases comfort for the wearer.
Moldex improves upon the standard 2-strap mask design with the 2600's HandyStrap®. This elastic cloth strap won't get hot and uncomfortable, even during hours of use. It also has a buckle, which makes it easy to hang the mask around the neck between uses. This is not only convenient for the wearer, but it also helps keep the respirator in use for longer without requiring replacement, lowering costs.
These masks include Moldex's exclusive Dura-Mesh® shell to protect the filter media and resist collapse in hot and humid environments. Less collapsing means fewer masks must be consumed, saving money.
Moldex 2600 Disposable Respirator Applications
Humid, hot, and dusty environments including textiles, poultry, lime, buffing, polishing, underground mining, cement, metal machining, stone quarrying, bagging, sweeping, sanding, grinding, brazing, soldering, and welding. Note: for use with non oil based particulates only.
Choosing N-, R-, or P-Series Particulate Respirators |
N Series |
R Series |
P Series | About Efficiency
Filter efficiency shows how much filter leakage can be accepted. Higher efficiency means less leakage.
95%, 99%, and 99.97% are the most common filter efficiency ratings. |
Used in particulate environments free of oil aerosols. N-series filters cannot be used if oil particles are present. | Used for oil and non-oil particles with time use limitations specified by NIOSH. If oil particles (e.g., lubricants, cutting fluids, glycerine) are present, use an R- or P-series filter. | Used for oil and non-oil particples with time use limitations specified by manufacturer. If oil particles are present and the filter is to be used for more than one work shift, use only a P-series filter. |
