Moldex 4800 N95 Airwave Respirator with Premium Details
The Moldex 4800 disposable respirator mask provides N95 protection against non-oil particulate, plus premium nuisance OV/ozone relief. This mask goes above and beyond the standard N95 rating with an added carbon layer that achieves protection against nusiance levels of both ozone and organic vapor odors (less than OSHA PEL). That makes the 4800 a sound choice for welding in areas free of oil.
Moldex 4800 masks are part of the exclusive Moldex AirWave line of high breathability respirators. These masks outperform other unvalved respirators for significantly less with than a valved mask costs. AirWave disposable respirator masks allow you to breathe freely, thanks to "waves" - folds in the mask - that roughly double the filter surface area of the respirator. The Dura-Mesh® lining (another Moldex exclusive) provides protection from outside dirt, while holding its structural integrity in the face of hot, humid conditions. The result is safe, easy breathing.
AirWave masks also provide significantly better cooling capabilities than other unvalved masks, helping to vent the heat from exhalation away. This means AirWave respirators are more comfortable to wear - which, in turn, means the people using the masks are less likely to take them off early and throw them away. The 4800 features Moldex's SmartStrap. These soft cloth straps are adjustable, and they stay cool during use.
