Walker's Game Ear RAPTOR Hearing Enhancement and Protection DeviceWalker's RAPTOR Bone Conduction Hearing Enhancer is a revolutionary new hearing enhancement device for hunters and shooters that may be used with or without hearing protection. Unlike most hunter's hearing aids, the Walker's RAPTOR does not cover the ear, instead using bone conduction to transmit sound waves to the inner ear. The ears stay free and open, while the RAPTOR's omni-directional mics pick up ambient sound and deliver it directly via the bones in your head, bypassing your ear canals entirely. And that means you can easily use your own favorite hearing protection ear plugs with RAPTOR to block sound, or use the included maximum-protection NRR 33 foam ear plugs, for ideal hearing protection that won't decrease the sound quality you actually hear. Sound entering the ear canals can be completely blocked with ear plugs, while the RAPTOR's bone conduction leaves you able to hear your surroundings with clarity. Enhance Your Hearing + Situational Awareness

Whether you're hunting or range shooting, staying in touch with your surroundings is key. Hearing game sound, voices, and other safe sounds is critical both for safety and enjoyment. But gunblast noise is especially hazardous, and exposure can and will cause permanent hearing damage.

The Walker's RAPTOR solves the problem with a combination of ear plugs and SAC. First, wear RAPTOR with high-NRR ear plugs (like the NRR33 foam plugs included), which will prevent hazardous noise from damaging your ears via your ear canals. Second, RAPTOR has SAC - Sound Activated Compression - which prevents the sound enhancement feature from ever damaging your hearing via bone conduction. When damaging blast noise occurs, the circuitry compresses the hazardous sound, keeping your ears safe - and thanks to Walker's advanced technology, you can even continue to hear safe sounds without interruption.

RAPTOR Bone Conduction Hearing Enhancement devices come with a pair of NRR33 foam ear plugs, meaning it is ready to provide hearing enhancement and protection right out of the box. Great product, slow to ship tho

These are exactly what I needed.... born with one ear at birth and 60% sudden hearing loss in good ear sent me on a mission to find a bone conducting headset that amplified ambient sound.... I use this daily while waiting to get fitted for a hearing aid and possibly a cochlear implant in the future....

  • Good connectivity to blue tooth... long lasting battery... good sound

  • I paid for express shipping ($60) so the product would be shipped out next business day.... it took 3 days to process and another 2 days to receive the product.... I feel the company took the money and failed to ship as advertised.... I like the product, but was very disappointed with the slips in processing...

I have only one ear that hears. The other ear has inner parts but that's all. This bone conducting hearing aid allows me to hear stereo for the first time. I can hear what direction sound comes for the first time ever and they work great with earplugs in my industrial work environment.
I'll be buying another pair for backup.
