The Pro Elite is comparable with my professional hearing aide and I don't have the hearing protection shut-off with the expensive aide. I'm completely satisfied with these units and hope to increase my hunting experience this fall using the Walker Game Ear.

I had recently had a hearing test completed and found substantial hearing loss in one ear and depleted in the other, it was recommended I needed hearing aids. I purchased these through the audiologist and was not impressed after spending thousands of dollars and countless visits to have them tweeked and tuned so to speak with a huge amount of maintenance they required. I decided to purchase my Walker Game Ear and give it a try, WOW was I impressed, it did and performed everything the very expensive one did, the sound and clarity were every bit as good and as clear. It was great to be able to adjust the volume and tweek the aid myself. What a great product, I rarely take it off and use it all the time. A very satisfied customer.

I bought a pair to wear when hunting. I wanted something that would protect my hearing and still allow me to hear what is going on around me without breaking the bank with more expensive hearing aids with sound suppression circuits. The sound quality is very good and the blast suppression is good as well. Human voices sould a bit tinny but you can still have a normal coversation with them in. It is amazing the sounds these will pick up, when you turn them up all the way an acorn falling sould like a limb falling out of a tree and a squirrel jumping from branch to branch sounds like sasquatch coming through the woods looking for the dude who took his mate.
