These allow my Girlfriend to fly Pain Free!! Since I only need the Regular Size, I am disappointed that I have to by a 2 Pack that contains a Small size that I now just throw away. So Five Stars for the Product, and Zero Stars for the Forced Marketing of the Small Size. [Response from EPSS management: We are listening and hear you loud and clear. This FliteMate earplugs are now available in single pairs, so you can purchase only the size you want. Thank you for your feedback!]

I have difficulty equalizing pressure in my ears when flying, and at times it becomes painful. I've tried several brands and these are by far the most comfortable. EarPlanes* worked well, but the ridged design became painful after a short time. The smooth design of FliteMates doesn't cause that pain, and they are re-useable for many times, unlike the EarPlanes. I won't fly without them.

These plugs are comfortable, discrete, effective, and economical. For loud rock music environments, they are a practical alternative to higher priced musician's plugs.

These earplugs have vastly improved the flying experience for me. I need to hear while in flight, so it's good these plugs still let me hear enough to converse (they do lessen unpleasant airplane noise, though). Since using these, I haven't had painful ear issues and clogged ears on descent. I simply use as directed and my ears adjust to pressure changes without any problem. I like that they're so affordable and can be used indefinitely; they're also comfortable unlike EarPlanes (which are costly, uncomfortable, and have to be replaced every couple of flights). These are ideal for airplane crews and frequent fliers since they solve pressure problems but still allow the user to hear rather well. Thanks for a great product.

Best earplugs I have found LATELY. When I was a fighter pilot, the Air Force gave us a kind of ear plug that I can not find on the net. They were the best. Only problem I have with these Flitemates is that they don't provide enough attenuation for really loud locations.

I bought the trial pack to try the small size. I am a 6'2" male, but have very small ear canals. Although suggested for children, the small size FlightMate was still too large to fit into my ears. When I was in the Air Force in the '70's I wore an Extra Small, but cannot find that size anywhere these days. So far, the Wind Jammer motorcycle earplug is the best fit for me, but it is still too large.

Ok, so I have been on my 2nd round trip from Florida to Washington State using my new FliteMates...they are AWESOME! Much more comfortable than EarPlanes, tho they are a good product as well! As a music director, I must protect my hearing, so I was so thankful to find EarPlanes several years ago; however, I have no problem leaving these FliteMates in the entire trip, which always includes at least 1 layover. Great Product! I would highly recommend them! Blessings

I was looking for a discreet pair of earplugs to use in noisy environments and ordered the trial package. The small size fit perfectly, and might be good for a plane trip that I'm taking, but did not muffle sound enough to make me comfortable in a restaurant setting.

I have a real bad time with the pressure changes when I fly. It always takes me at least 3 days before I can hear correctly. I saw these and thought I would give them a try. I used them on a short flight and put them in my ears once I got to my seat on the plane and left them in until we landed and were taxing. I felt some pressure but nothing like I usually do and when we landed my hearing was unaffected. I was able to listen to my ipod using my headphones and still able to talk to my wife with them in. I was pleasantly surprise just how well they worked.

these where MUCH more comfortable than the ear planes. i flew with plugs in and my ears were very comfortable. Next flight on the same day I tried to fly without them and the difference was amazing. I immediately put the plugs back in! Highly recommend these ear plugs.

I found these to be much more comfortable to wear than the Ear Planes. They worked as effectively, but the ridges on the Ear Planes left my ears hurting after use. The fact that they're washable and re-useable make them the better value.
