A while back, I bought my first 200 pack of Moldex Pura-Fit as the comfort and noise reduction (NRR) was unbeatable. I have just received my 2nd order of same, and cannot imagine my life without them. So very glad someone (that's you, Kathy!) decided to run a real ear plug superstore; what a fantastic concept, and you are literally saving marriages, too :) Thank you for such a speedy shipping to Canada as well. I'm your customer for life!

I started wearing earplugs for motorcycle riding about 5 years ago when my tinitus got bad. I long ago gave up on the packets you get in the drug stores. I have used the Moldex PURA-FIT (6800) and the Moldex Goin'Green NASCAR (6620) and find them both to be outstanding products. I can wear them all day while riding (including 600+ mile rides), and can wear them at night when my wife snores with minimal discomfort. The two are similar in size - about 1-1/8 long and about 1/2 in diamter on the outside. The PURA-FIT are just a little bit softer, but not so much that you would notice. As other reviewers have noted, proper insertion is critical - made sure it fits tight before putting on the helmet!

Having a hubby who snores can be a real challenge when I try to get some sleep. I have previously purchased the sample pack, tried them all, and picked this brand/type of ear plug as my favorite. Not only it muffles the snoring to a super low, very tolerable level. It also is very comfortable to insert, and it does not pop out of the ear canal, even if I move a lot during sleep. But what has truly turned me into a fan of this particular type of plug is that, upon removal, it does not take a layer of my inner ear skin with it like some other plugs do. To me, this one is a clear winner, and I am about to place an order.

Very good noise reduction. Similar noise reduction as the E.A.R. Grande (Cylindrical yellow foam) but softer and gentler on the ear canal. I use them at nighttime and they don't come out during the night. Make sure you insert them straight (the tip should not bend as you push them in).

Why rate an ear plug? Because I have tried a lot of different ones and this one works best for me. Best means, it is the easiest to compress and insert reliably. Some of the others I have used are difficult to squeeze down far enough to slip into the ear canal. They are also long enought, that they can be easily grasped and removed. My work place uses these, so I found out what they were and went on-line to get the exact same ones. Cheers
