Mack's Pillow Soft White Silicone Moldable Earplugs (NRR 22) (Pack of 6 Pairs)

I purchased these for my friend (who won't use anything else).

I use ear plugs because I share a bed with a loud snorer. When my insert-in-ear-canal ear plugs start to hurt from their 'stems' being pressed against a pillow, I use two of these Mack's for a few days to give my ears a break. If I wash my ears before bed to remove any oils, the stickiness of the Mack's will last a week or more and continue to adhere them to my ears. They do not mask the snoring fully, however, so I consider them only for short-term use. I hope this is helpful.

These are a little unusual if you're used to foam or soft plastic plugs to protect your hearing. These come in small wafers that you roll onto balls, flatten over the inside of the the ear, press into place, and go. Might sound fussy but once you try them, you'll be impressed with how easy they are to use and their effectiveness. One of my ears won't hold standard plugs so these have been a great find. They work especially well under ear muffs as well as under more elaborate head gear. After 5 uses or fewer, replace with new ones. And if you need something to drown out noise when you sleep, these are comfortable and will still be there when you wake up.

Long review but it's from someone who's hearing loss has been attributed to use of power tools. I believe the lack of an effective second layer of hearing protection figures in. These work.

I’m an Orr trucker so I find myself sometimes surrounded by refrigerated trailers & I cannot stand those things. But I can’t avoid them either. Then I discovered these bad boys & now I do actually get sleep. They’re incredible & I suggest them to everyone.

Looking to use these for swimming, they create a nice fit and as far as noise blocking work quite well.

2nd time ordering once was for a cousin's little boy who has severe ear damage and his doctor suggested these to protect his ears while bathing. This order was for my own brother who suffers from cerebral palsy and often gets ear infections, our doctor also suggested the same product. They work really, REALLY well! This is the champion of ear plugs for long-term use. I use these virtually every day. Sure, the NRR is a bit low, but they are adequate for sleeping in moderately noisy environments. Normal ear plugs make my ears itch, but these don't! I have just ordered 200 pairs, which should last me a couple of years of noisy neighbors. Treat your ears right - if you need more dampening than this, but have trouble with normal ear plugs, you could try getting some 3M ear muffs to put on top of these. If you get ones with bluetooth support (like Alert XP) and run a white noise generator over bluetooth, you should be able to sleep right next to a jet airplane if needed (but don't try it, please.)

I've used a number of brands of silicone earplugs. The size and quality of these are the best I've come across. Price was excellent, transaction and shipping was fast and efficient.

I recently moved to a place with loud baseboard heaters and a train track nearby. These allow me to sleep comfortably on my side and they mask most of the sounds that would otherwise wake me.
