I have very tiny ears and it's been quite the search to find something that fits AND does the job. These do both. They're extremely comfortable to wear, block out sufficient dB's, and my ears don't ring after band practice:) HIGHLY recommend.

Working on a busy road daily surely takes a toll on ones ears. I tried these to ease to the burden and found them to quieten down the trucks/buses but still with this major sound a problem with these earplugs.

I'm a classical musician but also play in a rock band (not a very loud one). I'm also hyper vigilant about protecting my hearing. (and it's paid off - at age 39 I have better than average hearing levels.) Anyway... Earplugs / filters have become a hobby of mine as I search for the right ones for the right environment. Etymotics are awesome for concert going or loud ensembles. Great plug but not a flat enough response for me in a more subtle group. The Happy Ears are surprisingly good - similar to the Etymotics but a tad more comfortable... On to the EARasers. Now these have a flat response! They are perfect for my group. I can hear every nuance and they don't have that 'covered' sound. They don't block as much as other plugs so I wouldn't use them at a metal concert. But in my band where I want to take the edge off, save my hearing, but still hear EVERYTHING. These are it! And. just as they advertise, they don't itch and are extremely comfortable.

Well done - Earasers don't erase too much!! I play music in a moderate volume four peace band including bass, drums, guitar and amplified harmonica. EARasers Hi-Fi Musician's Ear Plugs (NRR 5dB) and Killnoise Musician and Concert Ear Plugs (NRR 9dB) - big surprise, is the two plugs that delivers the goods at moderate band levels. I have tried Alpine Music Safe Classic (NRR11/16dB), ACS-ER20 Hearing Protectors (NRR12dB) and Planet Waves Pacato Hearing Protection (NRR12dB) - they takes away to much high mid and treble at moderate sound levels and sounds muffled - they are probably intended for higher sound levels.

I Deejay on a weekend and have recently secured a slot at a local venue near to where I live. The sound system and monitors are without a doubt the loudest that I have experienced throughout my 15 yrs as a Dj. After my first night dj-ing at the club I suffered hours of ringing in my ears of which was probably the worst that I have ever experienced! This prompted me to take a look at the options that where out there to protect my ears from further or possibly permanent damage. Not wanting to spend £100s I decided to try Earasers as they looked reasonable in price but the question was will they actually work? I used the ear plugs at the same club for the first time this past weekend and I can honestly say that they have done the job as I did not experience any ringing in my ears after 6 hours of Dj-ing. Importantly I could still here the music through the in built filters which as all Dj's know is vital. One negative to mention, they did take some time to feel comfortable in my ears but after a couple of hours I almost forgot they were there. To summarise an excellent product at a reasonable price.

i ordered these in a medium and they were slightly too big for my ears, although if i forced them in they did sound clear, i have now given them to my girlfriend whom they fit perfectly and i will be ordering some small sized ones for myself.

I love rock music....live! But my ears are sensitive...probably more than most people. Without these, my ears ring after a concert event. With them...i don't realize i have then in they sound so normal and clear.
