These really worked great at suppressing the gunshot noise at an a three day rifle class. Very comfortable for all day wear and great sound reduction.

For simple, cheap, quick ear protection these are the best plugs I've found. They offer the most protection, more than any foam plug. They come in 3 sizes which is good because I need large. They're also good because they don't sound too muffled, you can hear the music pretty well at concerts, even though it's much quieter. Highly recommend these over all the cheaper foam-type plugs.

I could not get these all the way in my ear because the material they are made of is so stiff. I don't know how effective they would have been if I'd actually been able to use them as intended. I also tried a reusable plug by Howard Leight which was effective and comes in more than one size.
