Not for me
December 31, 2022
They're nicely made and probably do what is claimed. But I'm going back to cheap foam plugs - I didn't notice a lot of hearing difference from foam, and these are harder to remove than foam. And maybe it's me - I have never found an in-ear product other than foam that I could tolerate in my ears for more than 10 minutes.

I am a concert photographer. After years of abusing my ears with a constant barrage of incredibly loud punk rock music, I finally decided the pain and suffering the days following the concerts weren't worth the manliness I thought I was showing by not wearing ear protection. After researching a few days, I found these babies at the Earplug Store for about 50% less than what everyone else was selling them for and figured, what the hell? for $12, what could it hurt? Well, Friday was my first show wearing them and damn if they didn't work just as advertised! Posted up right next to the speaker stacks for a majority of the night and my ears are no worse for it! Highly recommend (and already sent a customer your way!). The only drawback is that the fit is a little wonky in the ear and they need to be constantly readjusted but it's a small price to hear for keeping all five senses! Thank you!!!!

I love that they protect my ears but I feel that they filter out a little too much and it doesn't help that I can hear myself singing (but that probably goes for all earplugs).

I go to a lot of shows and music festivals and was starting to worry about my hearing. I bought a pair a few months ago and have loved them ever since. They block out the damaging frequencies without muffling the sound too much and you can still have conversations. Best of all they are extremely comfortable and easy to insert. Once they are in you don't even notice them and neither does anyone you talk to because they are so small. I recommend these highly to anyone concerned with protecting their hearing in loud clubs.

Very comfortable and natural color hard to see. I use them anytime I need to turn down the volume in a public setting. Ear protection very important. Excellent product.

I Like how invisible they are. They work great with conversations in a loud environment.

These earplugs have very short stems, which make them less obvious when you have them in, but they are annoying to get in. You either have to use the insertion tool that they come with--just one more thing to lose--or try to shove them in with your fingers without covering the end of the stem. Either way, it's fiddly and annoying. Once they are in, they work well, reducing the over-all volume without making the sound too mushy. As an added bonus, I discovered that there's a hidden compartment on the underside of the carrying case, which definitely makes these the party plug.

I used these at concerts and clubs and what not, it works rather well. No muffling and you can still hear conversations up close. Gotta protect them ears!

Whether the sound system is crap or the best in the world. You always have to be careful of the high's and the treble and these let you hear the music and still enjoy it. No muffling like the earplugs you wear to stop out all sound (like the cheap ones you can buy at the pharmacy to sleep).

My wife & I are '50-something', the kids are gone, and we're doing what we love -- concerts & bluesfests. We used Etymotic Research ER-20's for a couple years but we like to hug the stage and the ER-20's didn't kill the harsh highs or deafening bass enough, they also weren't very comfortable and hard to get properly seated. We've been using the Alpine PartyPlug this year, and it's perfect -- easy to put in (don't need to use the iincluded nsertion tool), comfortable, and perfect sound balance. And inexpensive. Couldn't ask for more!

These earplugs feel so much better than any other brand! I usually get irritated and take them out within an hour, but these I do not even notice. I work in a salon and am sensitive to noise. I can still hear my clients! Love it!

These things are amazing and a life saver! Just used them for the first time this past weekend at a very very LOUD concert and you could not even tell you had them in your ears and they did not take away from the quality of sound from the concert you can still hear perfectly and at a safe volume level! For the price and high quality this was a major deal! I would recommend this product to everyone I know looking for a good set of ear plugs for concerts!

One of the best purchases I've ever made. They've saved my ears. I recently wore them to a concert and was able to enjoy the music without the pain in my ears I've experienced in the past. Super comfortable as well.
