NPSF™ -- Are you
trying to protect from noise and still be able to communicate in a loud
environment by phone?

Why: |
High Noise Blue-Tooth Headsets |
High noise Bluetooth headsets are
passive ear muffs, with the addition of a bluetooth circuit and a
microphone, either on a boom so it can be placed near your mouth, or in
the ear where it picks up your voice through bone conduction. High
noise Bluetooth headsets are a fairly new category, but those we have
tested seem to work quite well, and most all of them allow you to
accept calls, change the volume and end calls, all using buttons on the
ear cup. The microphones are noise canceling so they pick up just your
voice while helping to reject the ambient noise so your caller can
clearly hear you in very noisy environments. As a bonus, these headsets
also allow you to listen to music, podcasts, or other audio streams or
recordings available on your smart phone. These headsets also let you
connect with a Bluetooth enabled two way radio if you wish. |
Neck
Mike |
Neck Mike uses a contact microphone
that is held against your throat with a velcro strap so it can pick up
your voice, no matter how loud the environment. Neck Mike uses in the
canal earphones that double as ear plugs and earphones, letting you
clearly hear in very noisy places. Different models let you plug in
directly to your phone or sync up with bluetooth.
