Push-Ins No-Roll Foam Ear Plugs from E-A-R provide great protection, in a comfortable and highly hygenic design. At an NRR of 28dB, E-A-R Push-Ins are appropriate for most applications, providing protection from dangerous volumes without completely blocking all sound. E-A-R Push-In Foam Ear Plugs are specially designed, with a soft yellow foam tip fitted to a blue, high-visibility flex stem for easy insertion and removal. No-Roll plugs feature a central stem that lets you simply push the plugs into your ears with no need to roll the foam before insertion. As a result, these plugs are simple and easy to use, and more hygienic because you never have to touch the foam with your fingers.

I really like these because I can get the proper seal or fit that I just could not get with any of the "roll-up" types. The noise reduction rating doesn't mean squat if you can't get it in your ear properly, so these are the one solution for me. I tried the variety pack over several months and this was, by far, for me, the best fit. I use them with the leaf blower, bush hog, pressure sprayer etc. When I am at the shooting range, I am required to use ear muffs as well. That brings it to a level where all you hear is your own breathing.

A pilot gave me some of these for travel on a noisy airplane. They were wonderful! They are the only earplugs I've ever been able to keep in my ears. Everything else works it's way out quickly. No protection if they won't stay in. I managed to get a few more packages but with time have managed to lose every single one, so I bought a box of 100. I know that sounds crazy, but I work Habitat (think power tools and generators) and cover car racing. I'm hoping I won't run out of ear plugs for a very long time. I love them! They work so well. I think they will work for my grandsons too when we take them to the race track. Gotta protect those young ears.

I use these to fall asleep. I use them to attenuate the sound of a roommate's chronic cough, which for some reason doesn't bother me during the day but which I find distracting when I'm trying to fall asleep. They always fall out by the morning, but that's okay since I only need them for getting to sleep in the first place. They are much easier to put in than the foam plugs, which I've never been able to use successfully. They are more comfortable than the reusable plugs I have tried--don't make my ears itch at all. The foam is super-soft, like that on the lightest foam plugs. Since I always sleep on the same side, I cut the tab off the plug I use for my "pillow" ear and leave the tab on the other one. Cutting the tab off may mean it doesn't insert quite right, but that's okay since I'm not looking for complete silence. I also find I can use the same pair for a few nights in a row. AND they are comfortable even though one of my ears is 'average' size and the other is small.
